The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.

Psalm twenty three verses one and two
Why are you cast down, Oh my soul?

Hope thou in God.

He restores My Soul

I am writing this message particularly for adults recovering from some form of abuse in our childhood.

I am personally recovering and trusting God to heal me from being sexually abused in my early childhood.

It's an unpleasant subject, but it is estimated that one in six or seven men were sexually abused in our childhood.  If you find it a subject you'd rather avoid, then imagine what it is like for those of us who were violated against our will.  Some of us were subjected to terrible things at the hands of evil people. Ask not how someone could do such terrible things - such people are evil, bad, corrupt. but such explanations are for other pages on the God Restoring Men's Lives  site.

Such evil acts violate our soul.

Allender refers to the wounded heart.

Some of us have souls in need of restoration.

Jesus Christ IS our answer.

Our creator and redeemer has made a provision to restore our soul.

In Psalm 23 verse 2b  David wrote "He restores my soul"

many kinds of trouble can impact on our soul.

Our soul is not satisfied with what we eat, or drink  or consume.

We need to prayerfully come before the Lord our maker

asking HIM to restore our soul.
